Having the fade out for an entire scene is great. But fade could be useful in SO many other areas. For instance I have many sound effects that end rather abruptly. Sometimes this is appropriate, other times, there is not enough other noise to cover how abrupt it is and it sounds off to end so suddenly. Could there be fade in/fade out toggles for sound effects as well as the scene as a whole? Doesn't have to be advanced like the fade out where you can set the fade time. Even a static 1-2 seconds, or maybe a global setting would be just fine.

An interesting thought.

Oh nice one, also I was thinking about crossfading scenes. Right now we have the option to end all other scenes with the start of one specific scene, but what would be very nice would be a possibility to crossfade between two or more scenes. Imagine having one scene doing the night time camp ambience, another being slow moody music maybe and a third being erie battle music as the ... dunno zombies attack or whatever. so the battle music could slowly replace the moody one before without stopping the ambience in it's way. That could be done UI wise by maybe shift-clicking the scene(s) to be replaced and then ctrl-clicking the scenes that are replacing them and a predefined fade time that is used to be setup up front, or something like that... if that makes any sense ^^
Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

At the very least, I would like to have also a simple Fade-In, not only a Fade-Out option.

It's easy enough to implement.
