A built in help function would be very useful. Maybe even a tutorial, for those of us that don't know it very well and would need detail on how the finer functions work. It's pretty simple granted, but especially if there is going to be more complex functions in the future, it needs a explainer/enlightener/elaborator. ;)

Good idea!
Although I'm not sure I should be the person to write it. I know it too well.
Anyone want the job?

How about a wiki? That way no one person would need to do all of it, and collaboration and history would be very easy. We use an internal wiki at work and it is very useful and easy. We're using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki which is what Wikipedia runs on. I can help layout the format and such of both help and tutorial sections.

Aye[1], a wiki would work well.
I'd go with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PmWiki personally, cos it's clean, simple and easy to theme, and it's what I've used everytime I've needed a wiki since the first time I gave up trying to reskin mediawiki! *grins*
Although before I install we could do with some content. How about using google docs or wave until there's something worth publishing publically?
[1] Forgive me for using the word "aye" all the time. It's an affection picked up through too much D&D and way too much time spent typing RPG style conversations in Ultima Online many years ago.

So has the wiki been published? I would be very interested in one.

No one's written anything to put on it yet, so no I've not installed one yet. *grins*

It may be chicken and egg though! *giggles*

Tell you what Iain, once you get the next Beta version up, I'll start work on a how-to guide to help newcomers get started. We can then port it across to a wiki fairly easily.
